Day 12: Morro Bay and US-1 Scenic drive to Carmel (276 Miles)
After nice breakfast in Solvang we drove towards Morro Bay, this little town had beautiful park just next to the Beach and the beach itself was Beautiful, Calm and lots of Fun. After Morro Bay we started our Scenic drive on US-1 stopping at several beautiful locations on the way.
We explored the beautiful Coast, also the habitats of Sea life like Elephant seals along the Coast. We stopped at several beautiful spots including Mcway Falls, Vista Point and other points along the way. Finally we drove to our next destination in San Jose where we stayed at SpringHill Suites San Jose.
Day 13: Lake Shasta Caverns(490 Miles)
We started from San Jose with aim to reach Lake Shasta Caverns on time before 1pm so we can book the ticket for Shasta Caverns tour at 2pm. We reached around 1.15pm and booked the Tour, the tour started at 2 pm with short walk, Boat Ride across the lake and Bus ride to the Caves. The Caverns are amazing to explore you get to watch the Structure's in Cave that have formed over 1000 years. After around 2 hours tour we started towards Roseburg for our night stay at Super 8.
Day 14: Drive back to Seattle from Roseburg(350 Miles)
Last
leg of trip we drove from Roseburg to Seattle, we felt really tired
when we realized our trip is finally over and we need to get back to our
Routine Life. We thought we could have done more and expected the trip
lasted forever...
